Ultrasonic Flow Meters
Ultrasonic flow meters use sound waves to measure the flow rate of liquids or gases in a pipeline. They operate by sending ultrasonic pulses through the fluid and analyzing the time it takes for the echoes to return. There are two main types: transit-time, which measures the difference in travel time of sound waves going with and against the flow, and Doppler, which detects changes in frequency caused by particles or bubbles in the fluid. Ultrasonic flow meters are valued for their non-intrusive installation, high accuracy, and suitability for various fluid types, making them ideal for applications in water management, chemical processing, and HVAC systems
